by Kurt
Schreckling
It was over 30 years ago when Kurt Schreckling
first started developing model turbines using simple means. He went
on to build the first flight-worthy model turbines, becoming one of
the pioneers to bring this fascinating mode of propulsion to model
aircraft.
In the meantime the pace of development has
increased. Engines are now capable of much greater performance and
are more reliable. Today, possibilities are wide and varied: they
include everything from complete construction sets to single
finished parts, not forgetting essential accessories such as fuel
pumps or electronic controls. These all provide an excellent basis
for home-building, as Kurt Schreckling describes in this book in
great detail.
