Vortech offers components
for those building a G1-XL single-seat helicopter.
The G1-XL is a scaled-up and vastly enhanced version of the
original G1
ultralight helicopter. The G1-XL would qualify in the license-free Ultralight
category.
The parts sold
for the G1-XL incorporate major improvements over the
original design. The changes make the G1-XL an altogether
different aircraft than the original G-1.
For example, a full pitch, cyclic main rotorhead
and a positive-control tail-rotor mechanism. Plus, the
airframe dimensions have been scaled up about 30% for better
performance. Vortech does not offer a complete G1-XL
kit—only the listed components.
