DESCRIPTION:
Dominator gyroplane,
2001 model, ready-to-fly! Comes with a custom trailer that allows gyro to be
hauled without removing rotorblades. Powered by a 65 hp
liquid-cooled, oil-injected Rotax 582
engine (blue head) with only 35 hours TT. Has a powerful hydraulic pre-rotator for short take-offs;
a "C" box reduction drive (3:1); all-aluminum Rotordyne main rotor blades
(24' dia.); 4-bladed Warp Drive
propellor (60"); tall-tail rudder system; airshock suspension;
drum brakes on main gear; 9 gal. seat tank + extra 6 gallon tank; full
instrumentation (altimeter, engine/rotor tach, air-speed
indicator, engine readouts, compass). Has joystick control
system; overhead stick is just a backup (easily removed).
Note: this machine tipped over and was fully rebuilt. Has
flown several times since tip-over. Rotorhead was rebuilt by
Ernie Boyette. Only 35 hrs. total time.
Cruises at 90 mph. Excellent condition. Located in Montana.
