DESCRIPTION:
A low-cost
A/W-95 single-seat helicopter, about 90% complete
and nearly ready for flight-testing. Estimated date of
construction: 2005. Helicopter is the same model as the the original A/W-95 shown in top photo. Paint scheme: blue and aluminum.
Features: Powered by a 52hp Rotax 503 engine; aluminum main and tail rotorblades;
instruments (CHT, EGT, rotor tach), a
belt-driven tail rotor; ground-handling wheels.
Condition: Mechanically and cosmetically very good
(rated an 8/8 interior/exterior), with no major rust or corrosion.
No damage history. Has always been stored indoors. Engine
last run summer of 2025 (ran well).
Flight readiness: Helicopter is about 90% complete and close to readiness for test
flights. Completion mostly involves final hookup of instruments
and choke mechanism for engine (parts included). A qualified mechanic should go through helicopter
to determine what else, if anything, is needed.
Please note: This
helicopter is being sold as-is/where-is. A refundable deposit
will lock out other buyers (refundable for 15 days if it fails
an in-person, on-site inspection). Buyer should have training for safe flight.
