The actual helicopter for sale—the 51-HJ—is shown in the above
photos and video. It is ready to fly and has been carefully gone
over, all systems thoroughly checked out and approved. The
helicopter is in perfect flying condition. It incorporates twin Hirth 65hp engines (one engine
always provides backup power), a twin rotor system, twin fuel
tanks and a hydraulic control system. It is extraordinarily
stable and maneuverable. All fuel lines have been replaced, new
primer pumps and filters have been installed, the fuel tanks
have been boiled out and replaced wth all new fittings and
hoses, both fuel pumps have been replaced. In this coaxial design the counter-rotating twin rotors
cancel torgue in a far more balanced manner than the
single-main-rotor/anti-torque tail rotor design. The redundant systems
maximize safety. This is a state-of-the-art helicopter and is in
great flying condition! Licensed as an Experimental aircraft, it
can be used for recreational flying, general transportation,
agricultural spraying, oil pipeline inspection, aerial
monitoring and photography, search and rescue, and police and
military work.
