DESCRIPTION:
This
popular Starbee gyroplane kit (2005) is complete except for the
engine and pusher prop (requires a 45-50hp engine, such as a
Rotax 503 or Kawasaki 440-B/C). Engines are available through
Vortech.
Has 24' Dragon Wings rotorblades, an electric prerotator, full
instrumentation (airspeed, altitude, Hobbs hourmeter, voltmeter,
CHT, rotor and engine tachs), a vertical and horizontal
stabilizer (unmounted), coil-spring suspension, a
switches-and-circuit-breaker panel, an aircraft-style
throttle/mix control. A full set
of the Starbee Plans (manuals and documents) are included with the purchase.
This gyro may qualify as a license-free ultralight, although
with the longer Dragon Wings rotorblades (included), the
prerotator and the custom seat the craft may go over the
ultralight weight limit of 254 lbs. Painted an "inferno red"
clearcoat. Located in Nevada. Always stored indoors. Clean, new condition.
