This is a limited-time introductory price. A metal leading-edge is used for greater protection. The orignal RotorWay blades were slightly
wider than 7.5" chord to accomodate the trailing-edge rivets, but this was essentially "dead" space that diminished the airfoils efficiency.
With their corrections in chord, CG, etc. the carbon-composite blades will significantly improve performance over the original blades.
